Dry fruits are the easiest good thing in the kitchen. Straight from the pack they are already a snack. With a minute of attention they become something you look forward to.
- Warm a handful of almonds in a dry pan for two minutes and finish with a pinch of salt.
- Split a date, tuck in a single cashew, and serve with strong coffee.
- Fold chopped walnuts and black raisins into thick yoghurt with a spoon of honey.
- Scatter pistachio kernels over a bowl of kheer or phirni at the last minute.
- Slice dry figs into rounds and serve beside a sharp cheese.
- Keep a pack of Mixed Nuts in the car. That is the whole idea.
A note on quantities
A handful is a good measure. Our 200 g packs are designed to be opened, enjoyed over a week or two, and resealed in between. Buy the variety, not the volume.
